Where do overnight trips go?

Most multi-day trips are focused on Bimini and the surrounding Bahamian waters, including Tuna Alley, the Sapona wreck, and reef and deep-drop zones. Depending on weather, we can also explore further afield or tailor the trip to specific fishing interests.

Where do we sleep?

No. 7 is equipped with comfortable, air-conditioned accommodation for guests and crew. The captain and mate sleeps in the forward stateroom. Up to three guests can sleep in the aft stateroom and one guest in the salon.

Do I need a passport for Bimini?

Yes. Because we’ll be entering the Bahamas, all guests must bring a valid U.S. passport. We’ll handle customs paperwork and check-in at the appropriate port of entry.

Are fishing licenses required?

No additional licenses are needed for guests aboard No. 7. We handle all required permits and clearances for Bahamian waters.

Do I get to keep the fish we catch?

Yes, within Bahamas fisheries regulations. We are happy to clean and bag your legal catch for you to enjoy during your stay. Certain species are catch-and-release only, and we always promote sustainable fishing practices.

What kind of fishing gear and tackle do you use?

No. 7 is equipped with top-quality tackle for trolling, bottom fishing, and deep dropping. We use brands like Shimano, Penn, and Lindgren Pittman, and can accommodate left-handed reels or specific setups upon request.

What should I pack?

Bring light, breathable clothing, non-marking deck shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, personal toiletries, and any medications you may need. We’ll go over a full suggested packing list during trip planning.

Can I bring alcohol or special food items?

Yes, of course. While food and drinks are typically provisioned ahead of time and billed at cost, you're welcome to bring special items or preferred beverages. Let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Is Wi-Fi or satellite communication available on board?

Cellular service may be limited in areas outside of Bimini, but No. 7 is equipped with Starlink for constant high speed Internet. For emergencies, we are always in contact via marine radio and satellite devices.

Can we snorkel or swim during the trip?

Absolutely. If conditions allow, we can anchor or drift near safe, shallow waters for snorkeling, swimming, or relaxing between fishing sessions. Just let us know your preferences in advance so we can tailor the trip accordingly.

What happens if the weather is bad

Safety always comes first. In the event that the trip must be canceled or rescheduled due to unsafe weather conditions, mechanical issues, or circumstances beyond our control, you will have the option to receive a full refund or reschedule your trip at no additional charge.

What is the cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as fair and transparent as possible. A 50% deposit is required to confirm all charters aboard No. 7. The remaining balance is due 21 days prior to departure. Cancellations made more than 21 days prior to the scheduled departure date will receive a full refund of the deposit. Otherwise, deposits are nonrefundable, as we have already committed time, provisions, and blocked out calendar availability.
